How to EASILY Replace a Sanding Disc for Bench Sander - ANY BRAND!
This video will show a condensed step-by-step process on how to safely and efficiently replace the sanding disc on a bench sander. This method works for most brands including the following: Ryobi, Grizzly, WEN, Performax, and Powertec.
***ALWAYS UNPLUG SANDER BEFORE CHANGING DISCS OR BELTS!!!***
Changing a sanding disc on a benchtop sander is pretty straightforward but could be a head-scratcher if it's your first time. It can be done with what you have around the house. To change a sanding disc, you will need the following:
Putty knife
Speed Square
Phillips screwdriver
Heat g*n or blowdryer
A clamp or shim
A solvent (Lacquer thinner preferred, but acetone works well)
New discs (Amazon Link: amzn.to/4eB15ZJ)
Shop rags/brillo pad

I play vrchat often in my free time, and am watching a way to be constantly active while talking with my friends. I'm around 145~150lbs, and want to exclusively walk on it. The handlebar seems extremely useful to keep my balance while being unable to see my surroundings. I have a carpeted floor and will absolutely use that carboard trick as well as fans directly on it. This seems like the perfect purchase for me, thank you for being upfront with the downsides. They seem like issues I can pretty easily mitigate. I'm also decently crafty so the "option/possible neccesity" to reinforce it seems like a fun challenge if I need to.

This was a nice review of the treadmill and a nice breakdown on the issues it has and what to watch out for. I have to say I think your crazy for buying this type of treadmill if your a runner. It is not at all designed for running no matter how it is advertised or how fast it can go MPH. This is a walking pad, period. If you expect to run on a treadmill that will last, you need to purchase a solid full sized treadmill, like a Horizon, ProForm, Sole which are usually the budget brands but should last for 3-5 years at least. Using this walking pad to run on, Is like using a crowbar to hammer in a nail, sure it can work in a pinch but it's not what it is designed for. It's the wrong tool for the job. The fact that you somehow managed to get a year and a half out of the first one, by running on it, you should count yourself lucky.

Agree completely. My wife actually got it so that she could walk while working at her desk at home. Since the winters here are not the nicest and I lose motivation to get out the door and run as I age, I couldn't help but try to put some miles on it. I knew better, but I had to try lol. They really should limit this unit to 5mph maximum to stop people from thinking they can use it for running. Since I posted this video, I burned up the motor in the one I was using (the stator completely detached and was grinding on the rotor). The heat sensor was kaputt in the other one, so I "Frankenstein-ed" all the parts and once again have a functioning treadmill. We now lift it off the ground with a 3/4" plywood slab on each end for cooling and my wife no longer allows me to run on it. :)

These are ideal for walking and if you are on the light side, like a female with less than 200lbs. To believe you can jog on those you're cheap and naive, get a REAL treadmill where you'll have to invest $$ and avoid all these non-sense to save $$.

This worked beautifully. My ryobi battery has been sitting in my garage for years. When cleaning out my garage I decided to make one last effort before disposing of it. Mine must have been very dead - I had to hold the wires to the connectors for several minutes before the green light flash. Then several more minutes more to get the reading above 14 before putting it back together.

Electrician here and I agree with what you’re saying here and I have myself tried to explain to safety guys at work and they have no clue….most of my experience is not with a genset as you have shown. 99% of generator use is for power at a remote place which needs temporary power, and all electrons must return to the generator for current flow, that being said if a person were to become energized by a fault if no ground rod, no current flow. Unless someone HAS driven a ground rod. Most folks have had pounded in their heads for their whole lives that electrons want to “go to ground” and this is not true, the electrons will flow only if given a way to return to the generator. Even if your body is energized current will only flow if there is a path of return to the generator, therefore in this case no ground rod is preferred! It is my experience that a generator setting directly on the ground running, has such a poor connection to the ground, that you must consider it not grounded, as the connection to ground is too high of resistance to conduct. Again I’m of the opinion that no ground rod is required for these remote situations!

Pull fridge out and vacuum floor of broken glass (almost always some there - in my house anyway :-). Air compressor with air blow gun attachment, shop vac outlet port, computer cleaner compressed air can, leaf blower. Vacuum/ or garage vacuum: Attach old flexible cpap hose to the end to slip around corners. Online stores sell flexible hose attachments too. Search vacuum cleaner flexible hose, or dryer vent cleaning hose. Look for a hose that won't crease when going around the 90 degree corner.

The motor gets hot, and the heat sink -- which is supposed to dissipate the heat -- is too small for this unit. If you touch the display area near the front/bottom of the treadmill it will be very hot to the touch. If you are just walking, it doesn't get that hot.

I came here looking for ideas on how to access the center section of the coils beneath my fridge, as I was only able to manuver the brush I bought into the forward-most section of the coil array (my coils look almost exactly like the ones in your video) and vacuuming only cleared the very front bit of the coils. I would never have occurred to me to use an air compressor to blow the lint free, and a box fan with improvised filter to catch it all. This is a great idea, and it worked perfectly for me. Thank you! Thank you also for advising to unplug the fridge to preclude one having to "round up free range dust bunnies" 😂👌

Excellent video! I had to run on partial choke. Would still run fully open, but far from smoothly. Duromax XP4400E. I knew it wasn't bad gas, so I did the carb things you suggested. The jet and tube holes didn't seem clogged at all, but I ran the tiny wire through them anyway. I tried the same on the teeny tiny jet, but it seemed the wire was slightly too big to go all the way through, so I sprayed some brake cleaner in it. Wire still wouldn't go through so I put it back together not expecting the issue to be solved, but it was. Runs perfectly now. Thanks!
